Here are a few things that you might find useful to know during your stay with us! But don’t worry if you have any other questions as our 24 hour reception is always there to help you.
CHECK IN: You can check in from 14h00. Should you arrive before this time, you are welcome to store your belongings in our secure luggage room until check in time.
CHECK OUT: Please note check out time is 10h00 sharp. NO EXCEPTIONS! Should you wish to extend your stay, please inform our friendly reception crew before this time. We can also securely store your luggage for you.
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE: You can buy the following items at the reception: earplugs, firewood, padlocks, n@h caps, bottled water, drinks, snacks and more. An iron and ironing board can also be attained at reception. We require a refundable deposit of R50 (cash only).
PARKING: Do you have a car while staying with us? You can park your vehicle in our secure on-site car park for an additional fee. Please email bookgp@neverathomeworld.com for pricing and to book a space.

We have an awesome on-site bar called the Randy Warthog. Randy hosts fun events each and every day and is known by many as the best backpacker bar in Cape Town.
– Randy’s is OPEN from 07h00 until 00h00 daily.
– Breakfast is served from 07h00 until 11h00.
– Lunch/ dinner menu is served from 11h00 until 21h00.

HOSTEL TOURS: Here at never@home we run our own hostel tours that are purely for guests staying at our 2 hostel locations in Cape Town. Allowing you to explore Cape Town with other likeminded backpackers. We recommend booking these tours in advance as there are limited spaces.
DAILY ACTIVITIES: As well as hostel tours we offer a jam packed activity schedule.These unique and enjoyable activities are either FREE or available at a minimal cost, giving you the chance to meet fellow travellers and explore our beautiful city without overspending. Whether you prefer complimentary yoga classes or breathtaking group hikes, we’ve got something for you! View our current activity schedule below:

SIGN UP: You will be able to sign up to these fun activities upon arrival. The sign up wall is next to reception on the right as you enter the hostel, but don’t worry, it is hard to miss!
STAY CONNECTED: When you arrive you will get the opportunity to join our guest WhatsApp group. This group is an excellent platform for connecting with other never@home guests, sharing travel advice and staying informed about our hostel’s events and activities!
