From the 5 to 7 February at the Coetzenburg Sports Grounds in Stellenbosch proudly presented by Pick n Pay, the 2016 Stellenbosch Wine Festival will be taking place and it will be a harvesting season to remember. The annual Stellenbosch Wine Festival  will be celebrating this year in style and grandeur, and taking on the status of going big or going home with 75 wine farms and 10 boutique wineries that will joining in participation with the festivities of the festival itself.

Sampling wines from from Bottelary Hills, Greater Simonsberg, Helderberg, Stellenbosch Valley and Stellenbosch Berg which are the five sub-routes of the region, cooking with celebrity chef Tiaan Langenegger, signature treats from wineries and restaurants such as Beyerskloof, Eaglevlei Wines, Vagabond Kitchen, Big Steve Charcuterie, Wild Peacock Food Emporium and Bistro 13 as well as a biltong stand are just some of the things that you can expect from the weekend long festival.

Daily Festival tickets cost R180 for adults and include a tasting glass. Tickets are now available online from  Children under 18 enter free. Festival opening times:  Friday from 15h00-21h00, Saturday from 10h00-18h00 and Sunday from 10h00-18h00. Tastings finish an hour before closing time.
