Born and raised in Cape Town, Jimmy Nevis is a songwriter, pop/R&B artist and producer. He was a shy and quiet boy in school but one day decided to audition for the Cabaret Group at the High school he attended and was then asked to sing is audition at Assembly, which changed his life as he students started noticing him and applauding him for his talent.

Philanthropy has always been a big part of Jimmy Nevis’ childhood as he is the founder of the Blue Collar Foundation, which is an initiative that hopes to inspire and create change among the youth of Cape Town. He also helped raise funds for the rhinos, been involved with blanket drives and supported a home for abused women.

After producing two successful albums, “Subliminal” and “The Masses, Jimmy was the opening act for the International Artist, Pharrell in Cape Town and Johannesburg and was nominated for best Pop and Alternative at the 2015 MTV Africa Awards, a SAMA nominee for both Male artist of the year and best pop album.
