February, the month of love has come and gone but certainly not forgotten. It is also one of our busiest months of the year with the added madness of the Cape Town 10’s. During this time it is extremely noticeable how well our team work together in order to get things done efficiently and to ensure our guests have a memorable stay. Thanks guys! HOUSEKEEPER OF THE MONTH – Victoria Kerejane
One of the originals. Vicky has been here from the start and has been helping in making sure that our hostel is spotlessly clean. It has been a busy year for her. She was promoted to housekeeping trainer, won Employee of the Month and now Housekeeper of the Month. Her attention to detail and dedication to her work are just some of the reasons she continues to impress all of us.
MANAGER OF THE MONTH – Bob Bisuta
Another original! Bob is our Night Shift Supervisor and has been with us since September 2014. As you know, never@home is a 24 hour hostel. Bob and his team are responsible for keeping the hostel running throughout the night. It’s not an easy job. While we’re all fast asleep they’re keeping guests and the property safe and assisting guests with late check in’s or with helping them find their rooms after a night out on Long Street.
Bob is loyal and has always been a hard working and trustworthy team member so we’re ecstatic to give him the Manager of the Month award!
EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH – Sarah Ndibu
Not an original but it almost feels that way. Sarah hasn’t even been with us for a full year, yet she has won the “Always Smiling Award” at our End of Year Function in November and has now bagged her second Employee of the Month award! Talk about an overachiever! She is our friendly receptionist who makes everyone laugh and always delivers great customer service even if she forgets her glasses at home sometimes…
We are sure you can all agree with us that these are very much deserved recognitions for the individuals above. Thank you all for showing up on the regular and representing the never@home brand with your leadership, customer service, friendliness, positive energy, hard work and commitment.
