We are officially at the end of our financial year which gives us a chance to say a HUGE thank you to the never@home crew for helping us to reach our targets. We are sure that without you guys the hostel wouldn’t have the spark that it so clearly has which helps our guests to have an epic experience in Cape Town. So thank you to you ALL for your help and dedication to the hostel this year!

If there was one month where EVERYONE deserved to win a Crew Member of the Month award it would certainly have been this one. Unfortunately, we can only award a few lucky members. For the first time we went around and got the crew involved in the decision-making process. All crew voted for their Crew Member of the Month as well as their Manager of the month. The vote actually came to a draw with two crew members on the same amount of votes at the end of the tally. With then a further two votes taking place between Management to decide a winner. So suffice to say, it was a real close one.

Please join us in congratulating our top performing crew members for the month of August 2018

Housekeeper of the Month – Mbikazi Njamela

Manager of Month – Gareth Davies
Crew Member of the Month – Madeline Ncube

Thank you all for showing up on the regular and representing the never@home brand with your leadership, customer service, friendliness, positive energy, hard work and commitment. You guys rock!
For fun and so you can get to know a little bit more about her, we put Crew Member of the Month winner Madeline under the spotlight and asked her a few questions about herself and her time in Cape Town. Please read her answers below:
