iKhaya Le Themba is a community project that we are very proud to help support and be part of. Therefore it’s important for us to let you know what they are all about. They do so much with such kind hearts that we could mention so much more but here is an overview for you …

iKhaya Le Themba provides holistic care to children and families made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS and other difficult life circumstances. iKhaya Le Themba, meaning home of hope, offers after school care with structured programmes in a safe and stimulating environment. As well as this the school is also a place which provides opportunities for fun, cuddles, play, as well as a home cooked meal.

iKhaya Le Themba longs “for a world where every child has a hope and a future and the effects of poverty, trauma, and HIV & AIDS are no longer seen” – we couldn’t agree more

Here at never@home we try to offer as much help as we possibly can to this incredibly worthy cause. With your support we have been able to visit iKhaya and help put smiles on these remarkable children’s faces. During our most recent trip to the school, we set up a cupcake decorating activity and an egg hunt for the children as an Easter treat. We would like to thank our crew members who helped make the day successful and for getting well and truly covered in icing! Also we need to thank all of our guests of whom so kindly donated so that we were able to fund the day.

YOUR donations also enabled us to buy new soccer balls for the children, of which the soccer fanatical boys were EXTREMELY happy about. Our front of house member David also enjoyed having a kick about with them and the boys during our visit. Thank you all so much for your continued support and donations in our donation box for IKhaya at reception.

If you would like to get involved in the project, to donate or visit the school during your stay with us then please do not hesitate to contact us for more information. For more information on the school visit:
