A few weeks ago we started a new segment on our blog called Long Street Life with a primary objective of bringing you all of our favourite hangouts, restaurants, pubs and clubs that are worth checking out when staying in our gorgeous city. And this week is no different, since this week is Heritage Week, we thought it the perfect way to introduce to you Boaston Society.
Founded by Zimbabwean-born entrepreneur Elisha Mpofu, Boaston Society is a community of both young and old who come together to support proudly South African and African brands in the urban youth sector. The lifestyle store is a concept to support and be supported by the local streetwear brands selling street fashion and promote a street lifestyle.
It’s not only fashion that is the order of the day at Boaston Society, but also networking mixers, workshops on branding and events and happenings that support the South African economy.
So, before you come and have one of our Rugby specials today – grab a dress or backpack proudly made by a South African brand at 55 Long Street,
